Ground Floor Accommodation :
There are two entrances to the Byre. One goes from the
patio and then into the living room. The other entrance is along the
side of the cottage, up three steps into the hall.. |

The Living Room :
The Living Room opens out ont the patio through French windows. It has an L-shaped sofa,
A Multifuel stove, a 28-inch TV with DVD player and a small selection of DVDs.
The Dining Area :
The Dining Area has a table with six chairs, a sideboard and a breakfast bar with two higher
chairs. The breakfast bar forms the division between this area and the Kitchen.

The Kitchen :
The Kitchen is well appointed with integrated units. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher
and washing machine/tumble dryer.

The Downstairs Bedrooms :
Downstairs there are two bedrooms. The Yellow Bedroom is fitted with a double divan bed,
a wardrobe, dressing table, two bedside cabinets and bedside lights, a towel rail and a TV. It looks out
over the garden with views up Kirkbride Hill. It has an ensuite wet room, floored with Tetra non-slip tiles. |

The Blue Bedroom has a double and two single beds, the beds having bedside cabinets and
lights. There is a wardrobe, chest, dressing table, towel rail, and an attractive table with two chairs and a TV. The Blue bedroom looks out onto
the yard.

The Hall :
The Hall leads into both bedrooms, the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom.

Upper Floor Accommodation :
 The Studio

The Studio :
This has a sofa bed, TV, video recorder and some videos, bookcase and selection of books. Also there is a fun collection
of games for all ages.

 Twin Bedroom

The Twin Bedroom :
This has twin single beds, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV. There is an ensuite bathroom with shower.
There are two Velux windows, the larger one opens to provide a super panoramic view around the farm and
the surrounding countryside. |

The Garden and Patio :
The Living Room opens out onto a sandstone patio with table, chairs and a barbeque. Round the corner is a grass lawn
surrounded by shrubs and with feature of cobble stones which came out of the byre. From the patio, a ramp leads to the car
park area. New for 2007 - an extra garden with a stream running through.
All Weather Entertainment :
We have a games room with Snooker and Ping-pong. This is shared with
the Bed & Breakfast guests. It is beside the boiler, so keeps cosy and is a good place to dry outdoor clothes.
We have some bicycles to lend, and being six miles from where the bicycle was invented, we have some
excellent quiet roads. For the more adventurous, we are close to Ae and Mabie forests - the Seven Stanes.
We have a walking leaflet with walks starting and finishing at Low Kirkbride, as well as local walking
leaflets for those walking further afield. We have our own Farm Trail, and the FWAG Wildlife Box has information about the farm, colouring sheets for
children and excellent books on wildlife |
