The Garden and Patio :
The Living Room opens out onto a sandstone patio with table, chairs and a barbeque. Round the corner is a grass lawn surrounded by shrubs and with feature of cobble stones which came out of the byre. From the patio, a ramp leads to the car park area. New for 2007 - an extra garden with a stream running through.
All Weather Entertainment :
We have a games room with Snooker and Ping-pong. This is shared with the Bed & Breakfast guests. It is beside the boiler, so keeps cosy and is a good place to dry outdoor clothes.
We have some bicycles to lend, and being six miles from where the bicycle was invented, we have some excellent quiet roads. For the more adventurous, we are close to Ae and Mabie forests - the Seven Stanes.
We have a walking leaflet with walks starting and finishing at Low Kirkbride, as well as local walking leaflets for those walking further afield.
