Seeking mountain biking heaven? Low Kirkbride is ideallly situated within the 7stanes mountain biking trails. With more than 400 km of biking terrain, the 7stanes offers tracks suitable to all mountain biking enthusiasts. We are 12 miles from Ae, 14 from Mabie, 22 from Dalbeattie, 53 from New Castleton, 54 fro Innerleithen, 58 from Glentress and 70 from Kirroughtree - meaning that the trails are all easily within a 2 hour drive. Many sites also have bike hire - so you don't even need to bring your own - but if you do we have a lockable shed to store them safely, along with washing and drying facilities for clothes and washing facilities for bikes. This, combined with a warm comfortable stay and a hearty breakfast, ensures you are ready for another mountain biking adventure the following day.

The Cheesehouse is ideal for mountain bikers, with its two bathrooms (one en-suite), a gas stove and a fully-fitted kitchen, allowing you to relax after a hard day's cycling. With 2 colour TVs and 5 beds (3 singles & 2 doubles) the Cheesehouse is great for families and for groups of friends wishing to relax in each other's company and enjoy the Scottish hospitality.
